Regular steel wire refers to a plain wire manufactured in accordance with KS standards by drawing and processing low-carbon steel wire rod, which is a raw material, at room temperature. Its main uses include reinforcing wires for wire mesh, concrete reinforcement, and Hume pipes, as well as materials for secondary products such as various types of wire mesh fabric and nails.
In particular, in the case of deformed steel wires produced for the first time in Korea through the Cold Rolling process, they are ideal for concrete reinforcement and welded wire mesh, as they not only have high tensile strength but also excellent bonding strength to reinforcement bars.
In the case of the deformed steel wires produced by our company, excellent joint shapes are maintained uniformly through Tungsten Carbide Roll processing. Compared to the indented type steel wires commonly used in Korea, this has superior strength, adhesion, fatigue resistance, and elongation. Depending on the needs of the customer, it can also be supplied as a straight bar of various specifications.
